What we offerWhat type of powerboat and motor cruiser instruction do we offer? The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) offer, through their Sea-Schools, an excellent range of set-curriculum shore-based theory and also practical courses afloat, primarily on RYA Sea School boats and we strongly encourage motor cruiser owners to consider enrolling on courses to suit their level of experience. However, the service which we offer is in addition to RYA courses, rather than being a substitute. So, how are we different? We provide tailor-made personal tuition to cover whatever help or training you may need on board your boat. Often this includes owners new to motor cruising whilst other owners may want to practice and consolidate new skills learnt on an RYA course, but on their own boat. On the other hand some owners decide they would rather have individual tuition on their own boat tailor made to suit their needs.

Some owners find they are unable to spare time to attend a Day or Coastal/Yachtmaster shore-based theory course (typically lasting 2 terms at evening classes or about 5-6 days full time) or the corresponding practical course afloat (usually 5-6 days) and so they may opt for individual tuition on board their own boat at a time and on topics to suit them. So, can we help:
