Background Information

Powerboat and Motor Cruiser Experience:

I can remember very clearly my early days with motor cruisers and the nervousness I felt when leaving or returning to harbour and wondering whether it would be incident free. It always seemed that when the manoeuvre went without a hitch no one was watching but when things went wrong, suddenly there were spectators all around!

We have owned several motor cruisers. When we had a boat berthed in North Wales, we cruised regularly to the south and west coasts of Ireland and up to the west coast of Scotland.

Since relocating to live in Mylor near Falmouth, we have made many cross channel passages to the Channel Isles, north and west coasts of France, the channel coast and also to the Isles of Scilly.

We currently own a Swedish-built Nimbus 380 Commander motor cruiser based at Mylor Marina, near Falmouth and cover up to 1500 nm each year.
